Community and Affordable Housing
Chris' top priority is the High Dessert Community. He aims to bring together not just Hesperia, but it's neighboring cities as well. Hesperia was recently rocked by a scandalous local ordinance that evicted African-American and Latino citizens from their homes, costing a million taxpayer dollars.
Chris ensures that the city of Hesperia sheds light on the housing crisis, while fostering cultural appreciation and inclusivity. Read More
Enhanced Services, such as a Level 1 Trauma Center
Chris' wants to expand healthcare services available to residents in Hesperia. Our High Desert community will unfortunately loose one of the largest hospitals in the area, and the solution to this will fall on the shoulders of elected city officials. Despite our growing population, Hesperia's lack of resources will hinder us from the ability to: combat homelessness, drug treatment, and accessibility to healthcare.

Hesperia's Crumbling Infrastructure
Hesperia is falling apart, and our infrastructure has long-been ignored. Although Hesperia is one of the few cities that is increasing in population, our roads throughout the five districts are breaking down. Chris' goal is to work with elected officials and various departments from the San Bernardino County, Sacramento, and beyond to secure funding for work on our major throughfares, roads in surrounding neighborhoods and schools; bus stops for both residents, school children, seniors, and ADA-protected citizens.
Hesperia is listed as one of the 'Top 10 Most Dangerous Cities to Drive in'. Having road adjustments, such as safer speed limits, traffic lights, and four-way stops in residential areas will help save lives and reduce our car insurance premiums over time. Better roads are critical to improve the quality of our city, and preservation of life. Let's grow responsibly. Read More
Economic and Educational Opportunities
As our population grows, we will need to meet the needs of Hesperians by providing a better quality of life for our current and future generations with better paying jobs, educational institutions, protecting our environment and building spaces to enjoy life here in our city. Chris plans to work with other elected officials to bring a public four university to Hesperia, make us energy efficient, build a performance art center, and invite innovative green tech union jobs to Hesperia. Hesperians deserve to work and play where they live and not have to travel thirty plus miles for a $20 an hour job. Read More
